Dual-Core Thermally Shielded Engineering
One of the primary challenges in decorative pillar candles is maintaining a tall, stable outer wall while creating a clean, consistent wax pool inside. If the melt pool becomes too hot, the decorative outer shell breaches, resulting in messy wax runoff. If it remains too cool, the candle tunnels, leaving half the wax unburned.
Welburn’s product development team has mastered Dual-Core Thermally Shielded Pouring. The inner core consists of a faster-burning, highly fragranced soft wax blend designed for optimal fragrance vapor release. The outer perimeter is formulated with high-density, high-melting-point vegetable stearin (62°C+ melting point). This dual-density matrix creates a translucent "lamp-shade" effect during burn, illuminating external textures while retaining 100% of molten wax within the outer shell.
Pantone-Match Color Stability & Frosting Resistance
Natural wax pillar candles—particularly pure soy and botanical blends—are prone to "frosting" (polymorphic crystallization causing white film over time) and UV discoloration. Welburn’s technical lab integrates proprietary botanical anti-oxidant complexes and non-toxic UV absorbers. This technical refinement ensures that vibrant pillar colors—from deep terracotta and sage green to soft blush pink—remain pristine on retail shelves under direct store lighting for over 24 months.
